SOUTH BEND - Karen Ann Lang, 66, passed away at 3:43 am Friday, June 26, 2015 in St. Joseph Regional Med Center. Karen was born on May 29, 1949 in South Bend to Robert and Geraldine (Tobolski) Marnocha. She was employed by Plaza Styling and various other salons over the years. Karen was an avid QVC shopper who loved her family, visiting Florida and dining out. On October 20, 1973 she married Steven R. Lang who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Robyn (Shawn Caplinger) Lang of South Bend and Brieann (Jerry) Szklarek of Parish, FL; a son, Robert Lang of South Bend; two grandchildren, Sean Caplinger and Timothy Lang; her mother, Geraldine Marnocha and a sister, Deborah (James) Perry of South Bend. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Cremation will follow. Family and friends may call from 4-8 Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family to defray funeral expenses.
