According to the 1880-1910 census records of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, Ignatz & Anna Jakubowicz married about 1874 and had seventeen children, ten of whom were living in 1910: (with birth years): Mary about 1875, George 1877, Martin 1879, Balbina 1881, Stanley 1882, Nicodemus 1884, Helen 1886, Eleanora 1895, Zofia/Sophia 1897, and Peter 1898. Of the seven who had died young, Hedwige 1902 is buried with her parents. The St. Hedwig Catholic Church Interment records include two more who may be their children, also interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery: Leo 1892 and Joseph 1896.
