In "Polish Immigrants to the Midwest", the son of Ignacy and Anna Jakubowicz, "Wojciech Jakubowicz", is listed as born "12 Apr 1897 Rolling Prairie". I don't doubt that that was what the source used said, but his age is in conflict with the the family's 1880 and 1900 census records of South Bend, St. Joseph County, IN. Those censuses use the anglicized version of his name, so it is only his age that is in conflict: In 1880, "George" is listed as "3" years old, and in 1900, "George" is listed as "22", born "Apr 1877".
