Mrs. Rose Hoffman, aged 8O, of 434 South Jackson street, died, at 5:40 p.m. Monday in her residence after an illness of six months. She was born in Poland June 13, 1867, and came here 60 years ago from that country.
Surviving are six children, Valentine, Martin, John, Mrs. Mary Wesolowski, Mrs. Helen Jozwiak and Mrs. Joseph Mezykowski, and 13 grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends may call in the residence after 5 p.m. today and until the funeral services at 9 a. m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Catholic church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary society of the church.
