Barbara Gayle McGowan, 84 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday December 30, 2012 at her residence in Eldon, Missouri. On April 8, 1928 she was born in California, Missouri the daughter of the late Walter and Alpha Floy (Apperson) Gentzsch. On October 31, 1946 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Clopha "Mac" Mozell McGowan who preceded her in death on June 29, 2007. Survivors: daughters, Christi Gumm of New Carlisle, IN, Dawn Potter of Barnett, MO, Patricia Harville of New Carlisle, IN, Kathy McReynolds of North Las Vegas, NV; sons, Richard McGowan of Rolling Prairie, IN and Roger McGowan of Lake Ozark, MO; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband and one brother, Anzell preceded her in death. Visitation will be on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Bro. Bob Hoskins officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO at a later date. Memorials for Barbara Gayle McGowan are suggested to the Donor's Choice.
