SOUTH BEND - Bernice Kay Pankiewicz, 42, of Scenic Drive, died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Pankiewicz worked for A.M. General for 18 years. She was born May 1, 1953, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident. Surviving are a daughter, Christina Sulentic of South Bend; two sons, Edward and John, both at home; two grandchildren; her parents, Clem and Irene Lyczynski of South Bend; a sister, Barb Duvernay of New Orleans; and two brothers, Bob and Jim Lyczynski, both of South Bend. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a graduate of Washington High School.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
