SOUTH BEND - Raymond Jez, 52, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of South Bend, died March 19 in his home after an illness. Mr. Jez was lead dispatcher for Colorado Public Service Co. for 20 years. He was born Jan. 22, 1942, in South Bend, and lived in Colorado since 1971. On Aug. 22, 1964, in South Bend, he married Carolyn Ganus. She survives, with a daughter, Sherry Jez at home; a son, Darren at home; his parents, Josephine and Albin Jez of South Bend; and three sisters, Dorothy Fodrocy of South Bend, Sister Carol Jez, CSFN, of Australia, and Barbara Ann Ore of Aurora, Colo. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard Reserve. Services were held Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Inglewood, Colo. Entombment was in Fairmount Cemetery, Inglewood. Kaniewski Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
