SOUTH BEND - Daniel “Morey” Morozowski, 80, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, in his home. Daniel was born on December 13, 1935, in South Bend, to the late Paul and Harriet (Karnafel) Morozowski. Daniel is survived by sons, Dwight Morozowski of South Bend and Dwayne Morozowski of LaPorte; grandsons, Alec Portinga and Dylan Morozowski; cousins, Rita Carroll, John Lee Szabo and Tom Szabo; and former wife, Donna Morozowski. Daniel honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Kalamazoo College alumnus and graduated with a Master's in Education and Administration from Indiana University Bloomington. Daniel was a teacher and eventually a principal at Edison Middle School where he retired. He enjoyed golfing and was a sports enthusiast. Daniel was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan. Visitation is 2-8 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10 am Friday, May 20, 2016, in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
