SOUTH BEND, IN - Stephen J. Vuckis, Jr. 80, passed away in his home. Steve was born on November 28, 1940 in Chicago, IL to the late Stephen and Anne (Kolat) Vuckis, Sr. Steve is survived by his sister, Rose Marie Rinehart of Osceola; cousins, Maryann Songer and Steve Gual; and good friend, Jim Warren. Steve graduated from Central High School in 1959 and then enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served his country. He was a 30-year retiree from AM General. There will be no funeral services at this time. Palmer Funeral Home - West Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences can be made at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
