NORTH LIBERTY - Clara M. Bailey, 80, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Clara was born on April 16, 1927, in North Liberty, IN, to Frank and Mary (Krych) Laskowski. On October 15, 1949, Clara married Walker Bailey in Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by brothers, Henry, Clem, Alex, Burt and Leo. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Kathy) Bailey of Walkerton, IN, and Brian (Karen) Bailey of North Liberty, IN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Clara enjoyed going to garage sales, softball, driving every day out to University Park Mall in Mishawaka to go shopping, and spending as much time as she could with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Visitation was on Wednesday in ST JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral service was celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24th, in the funeral home. Burial took place at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend.
