Obituary: South Bend Tribune: July 23, 1956
Mrs. Eleanor Wroblewski, 444 S. Jackson St., died Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of three weeks. Born in Germany March 13, 1874, she came to South Bend from that country 74 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Galvas and Mrs. Joan Schermerhorn; two sons, William and Frank; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends may call today in St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church on the University of Notre Dame campus. Rev. Thomas Haley, CSC, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Grove.
