[N4021] POROGI 60TH BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. -- Celebrating their 60th anniversary are Jane and John Porogi of Barefoot Bay. John J. Porogi and Mary Jane Arndt married Sept. 25, 1948, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, South Bend. They have two children, Carol Kahlmorgan of South Bend and John D. of New Carlisle. They also have two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Porogi, a South Bend native, retired in 1987 from Clay Township Civic & Democratic Club, South Bend, and in 2006 from Publix. He lived in South Bend for more than 60 years, and Mrs. Porogi lived in South Bend for more than 50 years.
