Thomas A. Walkowski, 83, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 10:15 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, in Holy Cross Rehabilitation and Wellness. Thomas was born on November 10, 1936 in South Bend to Clem and Rose (Rypnicki) Walkowski, and was a lifelong resident. He retired in 1988 from Stanley Enterprises, where he was employed as a welder. On April 4, 1970, in South Bend, he married Brenda S. Watkins, who survives. Thomas is also survived his son Thomas L. (Sherri) Walkowski of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren, Chris (Krystal) Walkowski, Andrew (Tyeshea) Walkowski and Lucas Walkowski; five great-grandchildren, Jade and Madison, and Colton, Cayden and Makenna; and by his brother, James Walkowiak of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Judith A. Bikowski on June 22, 2020. There will be no visitation or services.
