Beth A. Pocza, 58, of Venice, Florida, passed away on Sept. 8, 2021. She was born to Harry and Shirley Hively on May 2, 1963, in Elkhart, Indiana. Beth graduated from Ball State University in 1985. She married Frank Pocza on June 20, 1987, in Elkhart, Indiana, and resided in Granger, Indiana, for 20 years. In 2013, Beth and her husband retired from their real estate investments and moved to Venice, Florida. Beth was a master gardener in Indiana and enjoyed art, interior design and restoring decorative furnishings. She was kind, gentle and loved life. Beth is preceded in death by her father, Harry Hively; nephew, Samuel Hively; and brother-in-law, Steve Pocza.Beth is survived by her husband of 34 years, Frank; mother, Shirley; brother, Brad; sister-in-law, Pam; and nephews, Ben and Nick Hively; as well as brothers-in-law, Arpod (Pam) Zoltan, and Nong (Martha) Pocza. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held for the immediate family.
