SOUTH BEND - Carrie M. Lapczynski, 94, died at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Carrie was born on June 12, 1914 in South Bend, to the late Walter and Blanche (Kenszka) Sniadecki. On November 30, 1940, Carrie married Alex Lapczynski and he passed away on
September 11, 1983. She was also preceded in death by a son, Karl; five brothers and three sisters. Carrie is survived by a son, David of South Bend; grandchildren, Carrie (Rick) LaMar of Naperville, IL, and Kyle (Erin) Lapczynski of Chicago. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday,
September 28, 2008, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:03 p.m. Family and friends will gather at St. Anthony Catholic church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
