Preston Gregory Papoi, 50, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away Nov. 15, 2002. Mr. Papoi was born Aug. 25, 1952 in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. Mr. Papoi graduated with a bachelor's degree from Akron University in 1979. For 25 years, he worked at Allside's as director of operation. He loved playing pool and played regularly with various leagues. He also enjoyed the trips on his Harley. Preceded in death by mother, Phyllis. He is survived by his father, Stephen of South Bend, Ind.; a son, Rene Anthony (Sandy) Papoi of Akron; a daughter, Erika Marie Papoi of Akron; granddaughter, Anastasia; companion, Catherine Broska of Tallmadge; sisters, Karen (Dee) Andrzejewski of South Bend and Stephanie Papoi also of South Bend; brother, Jeffery of Las Vegas, Nev.; nephew and niece, Adam and April; and Mr. "Greg's" special girlfriend, Erin Nicole Papoi. Calling hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dunn-Quigley Ciriello and Carr, Fairlawn Chapel, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
