MISHAWAKA - Jacqueline J. Serge, 71, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away of natural causes at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in her residence. Jacqueline was born on May 28, 1936, to Ervin and Helen (Hoke) Throne, who both have preceded her in death. A daughter, Karen Marie Serge in 1955, and her brother, Robert Throne, also preceded her in death. On November 20, 1954, in St. Monica Catholic Church in Mishawaka, as Jacqueline J. Throne, she married Patrick F. Serge. Patrick survives along with five daughters, Marisa Chlebek, Tina Morin, Patty (Mario) Brioli, Diana (Chris) Bossman and Angela Eaton; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Jacqueline will be at 11:00 a.m. today (Thursday, April 3) in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Father Jeffery Largent will officiate the services, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
