MISHAWAKA - Anne K. Kopsea, 86, passed away at 10:40 a.m. at home on Friday, January 7th, of natural causes. Anne was born on June 26, 1924, in South Bend, to the late Matthew and Lidvina "Lena" (Kuzmich) Ribarich. On July 3, 1948, in South Bend, as the former Anne K. Ribarich, she married Charles "Chil" Kopsea, who preceded her in death on May 25, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Michael C. (Jeanette) Kopsea of Osceola and Matthew J. Kopsea of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Charles (Julie) Kopsea of Oak Creek, WI, Amy Kopsea of Grand Prairie, TX, Richard Kopsea and Anthony Kopsea of Osceola; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Nathan Kopsea of Oak Creek, WI; and a sister, Agnes Ribarich of South Bend. Anne was a Riley High School graduate, a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, DeAmicis Ladies Auxiliary and the Mishawaka Women's Democratic Club. Visitation is on Monday, January 10, from 2 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary at 5 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bavo Catholic Church, 511 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544; or to the Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County United Health Services, 6910 S.
