Louise Therese Henrich, 92, of Bloomington, Indiana, formerly of Michigan City passed away on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Heartstone in Bloomington, Indiana. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church with Rev. Keith McClelland officiating. Entombment will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens following mass. Viewing will be held on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Root Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Louise was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Frank and Victoria Puszynski. On Sept. 6, 1942, in Three Oaks, Michigan, she married Louis Henrich who is preceding her in death.
Surviving are three children, Judith (Kelly) Cummins of Elkhart, Indiana, Dr. Paul (Diane) Henrich of Newtown, New Jersey, and Dr. Carter (Kathleen) Henrich of Bloomington, Indiana; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Irene, Adeline, Sara and Lillian.
Louise was a member of Queen of All Saints Church and the church Rosary Sodality. She volunteered at the school for many years and was also a volunteer for the St. Anthony Hospital Guild working in the Gift Shop. She was a member of the Michigan City Senior Center and loved to play golf, go bowling and play cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorials may be made to Str. Jude's Children's Hospital.
