Mr. Louis Rudolph Henrich, 90, of Michigan City, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at 8:15 a.m. at St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers, Michigan City. He was born July 3, 1914, in Michigan City to George and Anna (Nowatzke) Henrich.Mr. Henrich retired as the owner of LaPorte Garage Door Co., and was a partner in Fabribeam Corp. for 29 years. He attended Queen of All Saints Church, was a member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society, and was the Coolspring Township Trustee/Assessor from 1954 to 1958. He was also a member of the LaPorte-Porter County Drainage Board since 1992. He is survived by one daughter, Judith (Kelly) Cummins of Elkhart; two sons, Dr. Paul (Diane) of Newton, N.J., and Dr. Carter (Kate) of Bloomington, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Sean and Ian Cummins, Ursula Leo, Lara Cutshall, and Karl, Erica, Heidi, Peter and Daniel Henrich; one great-grandson; one sister, Loretta Coil of Michigan City; and two brothers, George and Carl, both of Michigan City. He was preceded in death by one brother, John; and one sister, Lucille Gruenke. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church, Michigan City, with Rev. Alfred Dettmer officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, Michigan City, where a wake service will be held at 2:30 p.m., and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City.
