SOUTH BEND - Cecelia R. O'Meara , 98, of South St. Joseph Street, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in Regency Place. Mrs. O'Meara was born Oct. 10, 1897, in Huron County, Mich. As Cecelia R. Kramer, she married Floyd V. O'Meara . He died in 1955. She is survived by 10 daughters, Lorraine Yocum and Beverly White, both of South Bend, Charlene Koury of Aiken, S.C., Dolores Jenkins of Vancouver, Wash., Naomi O'Meara and Carolyn Klinger, both of Indianapolis, Estelle Modjeski of Ann Arbor, Mary Kojei of Dayton, Ohio, Rosina O'Meara of Lafayette, Ind., and Irene O'Meara ; two sons, Herbert of Calabasa, Calif., and James of Indiana; 28 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mayme Mousoff of Harbor Beach, Mich., Margaret Pariseu of Plymouth, Mich., and Irma Graul of Florida; and a brother, Wilbert Kramer of Harbor Beach. Two daughters preceded her in death, Carmen Berger in 1985 and Phyllis Hartford in 1994. She was a member of the Altar Society and Harvest House, both of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
