Marian E. Futterknecht
Marian E. Futterknecht, 85, of 309 Rue Gauguin, South Bend, died at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital following an illness. She was employed at the First National Bank in Mishawaka until 1965. Born March 31, 1900, in Montoursville, PA., she spent most of her life in Mishawaka. As Marian E. Person, she married Otto J. Futterknecht Oct. 18, 1921, in St. Josephs Catholic Church, Mishawaka. He died Feb. 6, 1977. Survivors include three sons, Dr. James F. of Elkhart, John of South Bend and Robert of Los Angeles; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Josephs Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a rosary is scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Mrs. Futterknecht was a member of St. Josephs Church and the churchs Rosary Society.
