Lynda K. Konarski age 53, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, March 27, 2008. She was born June 30, 1954 in Prescott, Maine to Paul and Joan (Chapman) Kloth. On October 13, 1979 in Merrillville, Indiana she married Brian F. Konarski, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Brett Konarski of Mishawaka, IN, and Kyle Konarski at home; 2 daughters, Christa Konarski of Greenwood, IN, Kara Konarski at home; 1 sister, Kris (Mark) Lazart of Valparaiso, IN; 2 brothers, Bob (Virginia) Kloth of Griffith, IN, and David (Kathy) Kloth of Bradenton, FL; father and stepmother, Paul (Joann) Kloth of Hobart, IN. Preceded in death by his mother. Visitation Monday, March 31, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN. Friends may also call one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2008 at River Oaks Community Church, 58020 CR#115, Goshen, IN, Pastor Tim Rowland will officiate. Interment Sugar Grove Cemetery, Goshen, IN. Lynda was a homemaker and had been a paraprofessional for Elkhart County Special Education Corp. She had worked at the functional skills class at Concord High School and had been a paraprofessional at Concord Eastside School. She also had worked for several years for Habitat for Humanity. She was former co-president of the Concord P.T.O. and currently was on the membership. committee for Meadowwood Homeowners Association. She was a member of River Oaks Community Church and loved to help people. Lynda graduated from Merrillville High School and had attended Ball State University.
