MISHAWAKA - Mishawaka, IN-Harriet E. Meuninck, 97, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Harriet was born in Mishawaka on January 25, 1924, to the late Pleasant Ernest & Alice (Wright) O'Dell. On October 10, 1942, in St. Monica Catholic Church, Harriet married her high school sweetheart, Julius Meuninck who preceded her in death on March 24, 2014. Harriet is survived by her daughters, Susan Petersen and Kerry (John) Mase; grandchildren, Rhonda (Dennis) Savoie, Robert Petersen III and Eric (Andria) Petersen; great-grandchildren, Ryan & Rachel Mathes, Eric & Jacob Peterson, Kelsey McFadden, Amanda Miller, Lyndsie Savoie, and Kyleigh Toth; and great-great-grandchildren, Sophia & Jaxon Miller. Harriet worked at Uniroyal until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Foundation and After Payday Go To Meeting Club. Visitation will be 12 pm-2 pm Saturday, April 24th at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka. Services will follow at 2 pm with Rev Bob Garrow officiating. Harriet will be laid to rest next to Julius in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Due to current public health and safety standards, social distancing will be enforced and masks required.
