[N15522] Hrubieszów is a town in southeastern Poland, with a population of 18,617. It is the capital of Hrubieszów County. Since 1999 Hrubieszów has been part of Lublin Voivodeship. Earlier, 1975-98, it had been part of Zamość Province.

SOUTH BEND - Rosa Frenkiel passed away October 19, 2016 in Memorial Hospital at the age of 93. She was born January 4, 1923, to the late Jonah and Mina Gelernter. On October 16, 1947, Rosa married Moses Frenkiel. He preceded her in passing in 1998. Her son John also preceded her in passing in 1998. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Leah; and son, Paul; and granddaughter, Lisa Herzog. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful and active member of Sinai Synagogue. She was a long time employee of Notre Dame and enjoyed the university setting and students. Funeral services will be held TODAY at 11:30AM in the chapel at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, with Rabbi Michael Friedland officiating.
