Jerdis L. Charboneau, 81, Silver Bay, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1995, in her home. She was born in Grand Forks, N.D., and grew up and attended schools in East Grand Forks, Minn. She lived in Evansville, Minn., and was a secretary before marrying Gerald L. Charboneau in 1936. She was also a secretary during World War II. She moved to Silver Bay in 1957. She was a member of Sychar Lutheran Church in Silver Bay, various bowling leagues and teams in Silver Bay, and the Silver Bay Golden Age Club. Her parents were Olaf and Anna Larson. Her husband, Gerald, died in 1992. She is survived by a son, Gary of Martinsville, Ind.; two daughters, Geralyn Hoelzel of Sheldon, Iowa, and Julie Mockler of Duluth; a brother, Tuff Larson of East Grand Forks; four grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 until the 11 a.m. services Friday in Sychar Lutheran Church in Silver Bay. Burial will be in Sawtooth Mountain Cemetery in Beaver Bay Township. Arrangements are by Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors.
