Suzann Marie Rigney, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at The Acres of Indiana in New Carlisle, IN. Suzann was born on July 22, 1938 in Berrien Springs, MI to the late Buford and Eleanora (Slavicek) Mathews. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond H. Rigney; son, Daniel Rigney; brothers, Michael and Stephen Mathews. Left to cherish their memory of Suzann are her children, Joe (Susan) Rigney, Alva, FL., Kevin Rigney, Niles, Mi., Cheryl (Rick) Bloode, New Carlisle, IN., Raymond A. Rigney, Niles, Mi; grandchildren, Kyle (Sonya) Miner, New Carlisle, IN., Bryce Bloode, Katie Duran, Reno, NV.; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Arianna, Daniel Duran, Addison Miner, Yasmin, Madihah, Khaled El Mardi; and brother, Cloyd (Beverly) Mathews Suzann was a graduate of Berrien Springs High School and she retired from Ziolkowski Construction. Suzann was member of the Niles Jehovah’s Witness Congregation. Friends and family will be received Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 pm in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. South Bend, Indiana 46619.
