Bert Nowicki, 69, a resident of the Carlyle Nursing Home, died unexpectedly at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Born June 5, 1901 in South Bend, he is survived by a brother, Harry, of South Bend and two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Radecki of South Bend and Mrs. Mary Kolecki of Detroit. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Rev. George Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. A parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
