Services for Byrl LaDow, 83, of 227 S. Tuxedo Drive, South Bend, who died at 9 a.m. Tuesday in his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Dr. Thomas Jackson, former pastor of the East United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, where Masonic memorial services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. He was a member of Mishawaka Lodge 130, F & AM, and Aerie 2083, Fraternal Order of Eagles. He had been employed for 40 years at the former Industructo Trunk & Luggage Co., and was retired in 1963 from South Bend Woodparts. He was born on March 8, 1897, in Carroll County, Ind., and lived here since 1910. On June 24, 1916, in Mishawaka he married Marea Hatfield. She died in 1929. In 1932, in Mishawaka, he married Bernadette Buchhiet. She died in 1963. On July 2, 1966, in Mishawaka, he married Emma Banwens, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Kyle of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Robert (Frances) Kuhl of North Richland Hills, Tex.; two sons, Rex of Mishawaka and Lee R. of South Bend, 12 grandchildren; and a brother, Russell of Huntington Beach, Calif.
