Joseph J. Zakrzewski, Sr.
March 8, 1893 - July 16, 1964

Joseph J. Zakrzewski, 71, of 537 N. Johnson St., died at 7:10pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A retired Singer Manufacturing Co., employee, he was born in March 8, 1893, in Kingston NY. He had lived here for the last 60 years. On May 2, 1917, he married Lottie Walkowski, who died December 12, 1957. Surviving are a son, Joseph C, South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Nowak, Mrs. Evelyn Marlin and Mrs. Patricia Forker, nine grandchildren; a brother, Andrew, and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Cwiklinski, all of South Bend.
Friends may call at the St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10am Saturday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.
