MUNCIE - Irene Slanac, 84, Muncie, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born in Silver Lake to Rachel (Martin) and Paul P. Floor. She was a homemaker and a member of the East 16th Street Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Entsminger, Muncie, and Mrs. Daniel (Mildred) McEvoy, Mt. Summit; a sister, Mrs. George (Violet Jane) Balsley, Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Patrick McEvoy, Paula Wilson, Rex Entsminger, Mark Entsminger, Brenda Graves, Jeffrey Slanac, Michelle Slanac and Alicia Slanac; and 18 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Victor Slanac; two sons, Paul Entsminger and Victor Slanac; and two brothers, Keith Floor and Rex Floor, are deceased. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Meeks Mortuary Chapel, 415 E. Washington St., Muncie. Pastor Doug Lucy will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Silver Creek Church of God Cemetery, Fulton County. Friends may call at the mortuary after 10 a.m. Saturday.
