SOUTH BEND - Irma Baichley, 71, of 3521 St. John's Way died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in her home. She was born March 4, 1919, in South Bend and lived in the area all her life. On Jan. 13, 1938, in South Bend, as Irma Kertai, she married Rome C. Baichley, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Snyder of South Bend and Irma Jean Poulos of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; three grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; a sister Mary Pajor of South Bend; and a brother, Rudolph Kertai of South Bend. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.Arrangements are being handled by Kaniewski and Son Funeral Home.

SOUTH BEND - Services for Irma A. Baichley, 71, of 3521 St. John's Way, who died about 7:30 a.m. Saturday in her home, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
