MISHAWAKA - Following an illness of nine days, August Rodts, 85, of 531 W. 8th Street, died today in his home. He was born in Aeltre, Belgium, from where he came to Mishawaka in 1904. He married Maria E. DeSmet in Belgium, Feb. 19, 1908. Surviving are his widow, one son Adolph C. Rodts, at home; two grandsons, and one brother, Theopoliel Rodts of this city. Friends may call in the DeVos Chapel Wednesday and until the services at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
