MISHAWAKA - Adolph "Red" Rodts. 81, of West Eighth Street, passed away after an illness at 9:55 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, in the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. South Bend, Ind. Mr. Rodts was born on June 1. 1917. in Granger, Ind., as the son of the late Marie (DeSmet) and August Rodts. On Oct. 4, 1941, in Mishawaka, Ind.. Red married the former Elizabeth "Bettv" (Koppy), who also preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 1993. Mr. Rodts is survived by two sons. Michael (Judy) Rodts of Mishawaka and Adolph "Junior" Rodts of Osceola, Ind.; and by two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Rodts was employed by the former Studebaker's, South Bend, for 26 years until they closed. He retired from Six Security in1980. He was a member of the B-K. Club, Mishawaka, and the B-K Club Bowlers. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 6th Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Bill Sullivan officiating. Burial will
follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
