Dec. 24, 1923 April 6, 1993 SOUTH BEND Henrietta E. Bazyk, 69, of Burbank avenue, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the home of her son on Ivy Road, after an illness. Mrs. Bazyk was born Dec. 24, 1923, in New Carlisle and was a lifelong area resident. On Aug. 29, 1953, in Terre Coupe, as Henrietta Rzepka, she married Stanley Bazyk. He survives with a son Randy of South Bend, one grandson; two sisters, Irene Wojcik and Adeline Solmos, both of South Bend, and five brothers, Henry Rzepka of New Carlisle, Clem Rzepka, David Rzepka and Bernard Rzepka, all of South Bend, and Norbert Rzepka of Niles. A grandson preceded her in death. She was a member of Holy Family Catholich Church, Moose Lodge 58 Auxiliary and Polish National Alliance Lodge 3078, New Carlisle. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
