GRANGER - Geraldine Ewald, 86, passed away at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in the Hearth at Juday Creek. Geraldine was born June 12, 1928, in South Bend, to the late Sylvester and Laura (Krych) Woltman. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan Ewald. On October 9, 1948, in St. Casimir Church, Geraldine married the love of her life, Raymond "Jack" Ewald. Geraldine's family was her main priority in life and she is survived by her husband, Raymond (Jack) Ewald; daughter, Janice (Chuck) Jones; sons, Dale (Sarah) Ewald and Dennis (Pam) Ewald; sister, Elaine Zarzyka; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Geraldine enjoyed playing cards, flowering, books and puzzles, Notre Dame football and, most of all, spending time with her family. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Friday, March 27, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery.
