SOUTH BEND - Dorothy Zyzak, 80, died Monday in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ervin E. Zyzak; son, Thomas A. (Katheryn) Zyzak; and niece, Alyce DeVolder. Services will be in St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on Monday. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of St. Francis Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, and the Franciscan Hospice. FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Celebrating their 60th anniversary with a family dinner are Dorothy J. and Ervin E. Zyzak of Federal Way. Ervin Zyzak and Dorothy J. Jozwiak married Aug. 31, 1946, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, South Bend. They have one son, Thomas A. of Des Moines, Wash. Mr. Zyzak retired after 30 years with Boeing Co., Seattle. He and Mrs. Zyzak lived in South Bend for 30 years.
