Stephen E. Rudynski, 77 years old, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 15, 2020 at his home. Mr. Rudynski was born on July 9, 1943 in LaPorte, IN to the late Bert and Clara Arlene (Ulrich) Rudynski. He has remained a lifelong resident of North Liberty. On January 2, 1962 in North Liberty, Stephen and Joanne M. Croy were united in marriage. His wife, Joanne, preceded him in death in 2014. Also preceding in death was one brother, Ted Rudynski. Mr. Rudynski is survived by his two children, Anne M. (Marion) Carpenter of Trafalgar, IN and Stephen “Tim” (Cheryl Conard) Rudynski of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Dustin Carpenter, Dakota Rudynski, Kolton (Colleen) Rudynski, and Savannah Rudynski; two great grandchildren, Carter and Beau; two sisters, Marti Bridgewater of Maryland and Jeanne (Pat) Philotoff of South Bend; and one brother, Dave (Rosie) Rudynski of Lakeville. Mr. Rudynski retired from AM General where he was an electrician. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Rudynski was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main Street, North Liberty, IN. Pastor Tim Stewart will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Stephen E.
