Wilma Willie Lucille Gorog, 83, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer, in her home.
Mrs. Gorog was formerly employed with Wilson Brothers and Bike Web of South Bend. She was born on October 3, 1922, in Lacona, Iowa, to Furman and Cloe Charity (West) Nussbaum and has resided in South Bend since 1940, coming from Lacona, Iowa. On November 18, 1944, in South Bend, IN, she married Joseph Alex Gorog, who preceded her in death on October 16, 1993. Mrs. Gorog is survived by three daughters, Sherri Gorog, Gloria Gorog and Jennifer (Joe) Puzynski all of South Bend; one son, Terry (Barb) Gorog of South Bend; two grandchildren, Joseph (Niki) Puzynski and Lynn (Troy) Noel; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Rene Puzynski; one sister, Norma Goodline of Mishawaka; and one brother, Corwin Nussbaum of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her sister, Etha Jones and brother, Loren Nussbaum.
