Nancy Anne Piech Moser, 58, of Middletown, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 26, 2011. She was born April 1, 1953, to Frank Thomas and Anne M (Beyer) Piech who preceded her in death. Nancy was a 1971 graduate of LaVille High School, Lakeville, IN and a 1975 graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle, IN. She moved to the greater D.C. area and was employed by Bioqual, Inc., a medical research company, for 27 years. Ms. Moser has resided in Middletown since 1990. She loved animals, especially cats, was an avid reader, and belonged to the Middletown Library Book Club. She also enjoyed working in heryard and with her flowers. Nancy was a kind and loving Christian woman who had a deep relationship with Jesus. Nancy is survived by her siblings Timothy Frank Piech, Lesa Anne Piech, F. Thomas (Colleen) Piech, Jr., and Georgia (Phil) Niswonger, all of South Bend, IN. She is also survived by nephews Anthony J. Piech, Eric R. Piech, Scott B. Piech, Todd Piech, Noah Niswonger and niece Susan Niswonger, as well as her step-mother Bonnie Piech.

Friends will be received on Monday, August 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, Maryland and on Wednesday, August 31 from 5-8 PM at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1 at 11AM in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. MIchigan Street, South Bend. Interment will be in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Local Animal Rescue or to a Local Rescue Mission.
