SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Wava Marie (Sweet) Tetzlaff, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, April 12th. Born in South Bend on May 18, 1950, to the late John David Sweet and the late Ermal Myrtle Sweet Wilson, she had been a waitress since she was 14 years old, and recently a cab driver, being the owner of Shamrock Cab Co. Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Christina Jewell of Columbus, OH; a son, Terry Tetzlaff of South Bend; and four grandchildren, Joshua Merryman, Jessica Nickels, Damian Stamper and Michael Marren II, all of Columbus, OH; and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial fundraiser dinner to help with expenses will be announced later. In memory of Wava, memorial donations may be made to the Wava M. Sweet Tetzlaff Memorial Fund at any 1st Source Bank branch. McGann Hay, Forest G Hay Chapel and American Cremation Society are handling the cremation.
