Both JAN and MARYANNA came over on the Rhein Ship from Bremen, Germany
and came through the port of Baltimore, Maryland. They were married in
Gryewo, Poland on April 27, 1902

John Sobolewski, aged 59, of 450 Albert Ave died at 7:00am Sunday in his home. Born in Siedleczke, Poland June 28, 1877, he came to this country 43 years ago. He was a Janitor at Healthwin Hospital. Survivng are four daughters Mrs. Stella Nowicki, Mrs. Louise Guzowski, Mrs. Frances Piechoski and Mrs. Severine Kitkowski, all of South Bend; a brother and sister in Poland, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St Casimirs Catholic Church with Rev. Casimir J Witucki CSC Pastor officiating. Burial will be at St. Josephs Polish Cemetery.
