Leslie P. Lawson, 70, passed away at 12:08pm Monday, June 20, 2022 in Miller’s Merry Manor, New Carlisle. Leslie was born on February 2, 1952 in South Bend to T.G. Ralph and Genevieve (Wroblewski) Lawson. They preceded him in death along with his step-mother Delores Lawson and sister Theresa Marie Lawson. Surviving are two sisters Jacqueline Smudzinski and Verna Ann Lawson Caplin, two nieces Regina Diamond and Amanda Driver, a nephew Daryl Smudzinski and 7 great nieces and nephews. Leslie retired as a meat cutter from Hardings in Edwardsburg and enjoyed watching old movies, reading and fishing. He also lived in Sacramento, CA for a time. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
