BUCHANAN - Catherine Dolly March, 81, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 1:38 p.m. in Lakeland Hospital, Niles, of natural causes. She was born to Joseph and Rose (Coda) Rancatore on March 19, 1925, in Chicago. On April 15, 1950, in Chicago, she married John A. March, who survives. Survivors also include a daughter, Jacqueline (Michael) Corak of Kalamazoo, MI; a son, John (Jill) March of Buchanan; a sister, Lena (Henry) Sadowski of Lombard, IL; granddaughters, Mellissa March, Renee Corak and Alison Corak. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister. Dolly was a graduate of All Saints Catholic School in Chicago, Illinois. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, wife and mother. She was very active in her parish, St. Anthony Catholic Church of Buchanan. She taught CCD for many years in addition to being an important part of the Alter and Rosary Society. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 26, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Buchanan. Father Maurice Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Swem Funeral Home with a Special Service at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 509 West Fourth Street, Buchanan, MI 49107.
