MISHAWAKA - Joseph Boyd Blalock Jr., 51, passed away on Thursday, January 29, in his mother's home. Surviving are his sister, Linda (Denny) Beavo of Mishawaka; brothers, Billie (Sylvia) Blalock of South Bend and John (Maurina) Blalock of Mishawaka; and stepfather, Joseph Hirsch of Mishawaka. Joseph worked at Wal-Mart on Grape Road, Mishawaka, for 10 years. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan along with all sports. Cremation has taken place. There will be a combined service for Joseph and his mother, Margaret Hirsch, who passed away Monday, February 2, 2009. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 4th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 5th, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rodney White of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating.
