James Lotus Butchko, 67, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005, in St Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born October 12, 1938, in Red Bud IL, to the late Lotus & Lyda Demler Butchko. He is survived by five sons, James of Loretta TX, Scott of Mishawaka, Andrew Knight (formerly Mark Butchko) of South Bend, Chad of Mishawaka, and Todd & Karen Butchko of South Bend; and three grandchildren, Lotis,Kyle and Addison. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, John "Butch" and Sylvia Butchko of South Bend. James worked for UniRoyal in the auto mats division for 34 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed fishing and target shooting. There will be no visitation and cremation will take place at the Michiana Crematory. The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
