Robert A. Dylewski, 40, residing on Cobblestone Circle, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 6:30 p.m. Thursday June 13, 2002, at St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind. He was formerly employed with Pepsi-Cola, Casa Villa, South Bend Modern Molding and Owens Corning. Robert was born on July 8, 1961, in South Bend, Ind., to the late John Dylewski and Thelma (Woods) Dylewski and was a lifelong resident. Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Ann Dylewski Jr. of Mishawaka; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Steve Kovacs of South Bend; his stepmother, Barbara Dylewski of Edwardsburg, MI and a stepbrother, Mike Phillips of South Bend. Robert graduated from Adams High School, South Bend, served as a medic in the U.S. Army. He loved his favorite dog, his dachshund, "Dude". He was a very social person and at one time enjoyed herpetology, raising snakes. Robert lived life to the fullest. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2002 at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. Rev. Don Francis will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
