David Motkowski, age 61, passed away suddenly September 13, 2020. He leaves to mourn two children, Nathan Motkowski and Melissa Motkowski; friend and former wife Barbara Motkowski; six siblings: Karen (Duane) Foltz, Bruce (Virginia) Motkowski, Linda (Bill) Prusiecki, Paul (Samira) Motkowski, Cindy (David) Sanders, James (Lea) Motkowski and his cat Sammy. He was preceded by his parents, Francis & Theresa Motkowski, brothers Gregory (Sue) Motkowski, Lawrence Motkowski and sister Susan (Bill) Aldridge; several nieces and nephews.Dave was born in Chicago, grew up in Hammond, IN and graduated from Bishop Noll High School, DeVry University and Keller Graduate School. He worked as an Engineer and Project Manager. Dave enjoyed traveling, visiting new restaurants, listening to the Blues, skiing, hiking, camping and backpacking. He spent many years with his son’s scout troop, Bob’s Hill Boy Scout Troop 3 of Aurora, IL planning high adventure trips. He was an avid Cubs & Bears fan. No public services are currently scheduled.
