Joyce Mary Wasikowski, age 80, of Granger, passed away Saturday morning at Story Point, Granger. Joyce was born on September 9, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late Alfred and Mildred (Steffes) Baines and lived in this area most of her life. On September 2, 1961 in South Bend, IN, Joyce married Ronald E. Wasikowski who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Elaine (Michael) Radzienda of North Brook, IL, two sons, Scott (Leanne) Wasikowski of Norwalk, CT, Mark (Deborah) Wasikowski of Van Alstyne, TX, eight grandchildren; Ryan, Drew, Sarah, Lauren, Luke, Jacob, Mitchell, and Michael, two sisters, Cathy Reifschneider of Scottsdale, AZ, Janet Meier of Phoenix, AZ and Richard Baines of Nevada. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, at 12:00 at the Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer Chapel, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635. Friends may gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home. A committal service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Joyce loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a kind hearted, loving person. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, scrap booking and her pets.
