SOUTH BEND - Florence Mary (Dombkowski) Wroblewski, 92, passed away at 11:48 am on Saturday, October 21, 2017, in Woodland Terrace of Longmeadow in Niles. Florence was born on January 5, 1925, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Stanley and Martha Dombkowski. On October 29, 1946, in Michigan City, IN, Florence married Stanley J. Wroblewski. Florence is survived by sons, Terrance (Mary Anne) Wroblewski, and Donald L. (Tara) Wroblewski; grandchildren, John (Nicole) Wroblewski, Katie (Chad) Wroblewski-Weeks, and Hanna Wroblewski; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jack, Zosia, and one to be born soon; and many nieces and nephews. Florence grew up in Michigan City and moved to South Bend shortly after being married and was a lifelong resident of South Bend. She was a huge sports fan, including Notre Dame, Michigan, and was an avid Cubs fan, enjoying last year's World Series Championship. Her family was the most important thing to her and she loved them very much. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, October 28, 2017, in St. Jude Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior in the church.
